THINK YOU'RE TOUGH ENOUGH ?
The course begins with a 3.5km climb from Lahardane village to the foot of Nephin mountain , an ascent from Carrowskeheen and descent down by Cloughbrack followed by a 6.5km road run back to the village.
The record for 2018 was set by David Sands at a very impressive 1 hr 23m 13 s. Ladies record was set by Deirdre Galvin at 1 hr 39m 09s.
If any walkers or hikers just want to climb the mountain , then transport will be available to Nephin mountain and back .

Nephin mountain at 806 M is even higher than Croagh Patrick. The views from the summit are breathtaking and encompass Clew bay to the West and Lough Conn and Lough Cullen to the East.
